2026 National Championship Schedule

Pro Road Nationals – Charleston, WV
Pro Road Nationals returns to Charleston, West Virginia, June 17–21, 2026, with Elite, Under-23, and Junior 17–18 categories racing for Stars and Stripes jerseys. The event serves as a qualifying event for the U.S. Olympic Team in 2028.
Quinn Simmons (Lidl-Trek) defends his elite men’s title after a dominant 2025 performance, launching a solo attack with over 50 kilometers to go and winning by nearly three minutes. Kristen Faulkner claimed the elite women’s title, adding to her Olympic road race gold from Paris 2024. Faulkner also headlines the American contingent at the Tour de France Femmes 2026, racing for EF Education-Oatly in August.
Competitions include the Individual Time Trial, Criterium, and Road Race disciplines, all of which take place on downtown Charleston’s mountainous Appalachian terrain. Races coincide with Juneteenth and West Virginia Day, creating a festival atmosphere throughout the week.
Tour of America’s Dairyland hosts the Masters & Junior Road Nationals in the Milwaukee area (June 27–July 1), continuing the road season immediately after Charleston. Winners earn the right to wear the Stars and Stripes jersey through the following year, representing the United States in domestic and international competition.
Mountain Bike Nationals

Four Mountain Bike National Championships will be spread across the western and eastern United States in 2026, covering Endurance, Gravity, Enduro, and Collegiate disciplines. Riders will compete on terrain ranging from Blue Ridge trails to California ski slopes.
Endurance MTB – Roanoke, VA (July 13–19)
Roanoke, Virginia, hosts a full week of Endurance Mountain Bike racing on Blue Ridge Mountain trails. Disciplines include Short Track (XCC), Cross-Country (XCO), and Marathon events. The venue returns after successful previous editions, offering technical singletrack and demanding climbs. Riders preparing for XCO racing should focus on adjusting gears for smooth riding on trails and hills to handle Roanoke’s varied terrain.
Gravity MTB – Big Bear Lake, CA (July 25–26)
Snow Summit hosts Gravity MTB Nationals in partnership with the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series. The downhill national championship crowns America’s fastest descenders on Big Bear Lake’s steep, technical runs.
Enduro MTB – Kellogg, ID (June 6–7)
Kellogg, Idaho, welcomes Enduro Nationals in partnership with the North American Enduro Cup. The format combines timed downhill stages with untimed climbs.
Collegiate MTB – Grand Junction, CO (October 6–11)
Grand Junction, Colorado, hosts the season finale for collegiate mountain bikers. The six-day event wraps up the collegiate cycling calendar with Cross-Country and Short Track racing.

Gravel Nationals – La Crescent, MN
Gravel Nationals returns to La Crescent, Minnesota, on September 12, 2026, marking the discipline’s continued growth in American cycling. The southeastern Minnesota venue offers rolling terrain and mixed-surface roads perfect for gravel racing. Riders considering gravel should understand how a gravel bike fits their riding style compared to traditional mountain or road setups.
New for 2026: Collegiate Gravel Nationals makes its debut on March 7 in Turkey, Texas, in partnership with Valley of Tears. This first-ever collegiate gravel championship reflects the discipline’s expanding popularity among younger riders.
Gran Fondo Nationals follows a week later at Gran Fondo Maryland on September 20 in Frederick, MD. The event gives amateur cyclists a national championship experience on scenic Mid-Atlantic roads.
Cyclocross Nationals – Fayetteville, AR

Cyclocross Nationals closes out the 2026 championship calendar at Centennial Park, Fayetteville, Arkansas, December 9–13. Fayetteville returns as host, home of the 2022 UCI Cyclocross World Championships, cementing Arkansas’s reputation as America’s cyclocross capital.
The course features barriers, stairs, and sand pits, requiring riders to dismount and carry their bikes over difficult sections. Racing spans Elite, Junior, Collegiate, and Masters categories across five days of competition. The sport blends elements of road cycling and mountain biking, creating a high-intensity, spectator-friendly event with a festival atmosphere.
Spectators can attend for free, and select races will stream online. The event features food trucks, a beer garden, coffee vendors, and a kids’ mini-course, making it accessible and fun for all ages.

Valley Preferred Cycling Center hosts Junior Track Nationals, developing the next generation of American track cyclists on the renowned Pennsylvania velodrome.
Masters & Paracycling Track – Colorado Springs, CO (August 5–9)
Colorado Springs welcomes Masters and Paracycling athletes to compete at altitude, continuing the city’s legacy as the home of USA Cycling.
Collegiate Track – Indianapolis, IN (September 10–13)
Indianapolis hosts Collegiate Track Nationals, giving university riders a national championship stage.

BMX Freestyle Nationals moves to a new venue at COR-Athlete BMX Park in South Jordan, Utah (March 27–28). Paracycling Road Nationals becomes a standalone championship for the first time, taking place in Bentonville, Arkansas (April 11–12).
Esports Nationals opens the championship season January 31–February 1 on the TrainingPeaks Virtual platform. The digital competition kicks off a year of racing before athletes hit real roads and trails.
